Privacy and Cookie Policy

1. Data Controller

2. What Personal Data We Process and Why
- Operating and securing the website. When you visit the site, the server’s technical (access) logs record your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested and browser information. The reason is our legitimate interest in running the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are processed by our hosting and content-delivery provider, Netlify, Inc. (USA), as our processor.
- Communicating with you. If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process the data you give us (for example your name, company, e-mail, telephone number and the content of your message) in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is negotiating a contract and our legitimate interest in answering your request. We keep the data for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and afterwards for as long as a legal claim may be asserted or defended.
- Visitor statistics (Google Analytics). Only if you give your consent in the cookie banner. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that would have legal effects on you. Providing personal data is neither a statutory nor a contractual requirement; however, without it we cannot handle your enquiry.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Without your consent we only use essential storage. Statistics cookies are stored on your device only after your active consent. Closing the cookie banner without making a choice does not count as consent.

4. Recipients and Transfers Abroad
The recipients of data are our processors: our hosting and content-delivery provider, Netlify, Inc. (USA), and, only with your consent, Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics). Netlify and Google may process or transfer data in third countries, in particular the United States. Such transfers are governed by the mechanisms provided for in the GDPR, for example an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
5. Retention Periods
- Access logs: for the period set by the hosting provider.
- Communication with you: see section 2.
- Google Analytics: no longer than 14 months.
- Record of your cookie choice: up to 12 months, 6 months after a refusal.
6. Your Rights
You have the right of access to your personal data, to rectification or erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal. To exercise your rights, write to info@fimill.com.
